Cresstec completes pilot installation of our REED technology for case study at RAAF Richmond in New South Wales Tuesday 25 January 2023
Cresstec has successfully installed REED for validation and demonstration testing at RAAF Richmond in New South Wales in conjunction with BGIS and Defence Australia. The installation will allow Cresstec to effectively test, demonstrate and prove in real world conditions the Company’s innovative Regulating Efficiency & Emissions Device [REED].
“Our partnership with BGIS and Defence Australia has been essential throughout the process, and we thank them for their cooperation and enthusiasm to support this initiative as the first organisations to install the REED technology."
The process will also provide calculable energy savings and leak detection as well as valuable data and insights into the future improvement of the system performance and functionalities. The operational data collected will assist various stake holders, including potential customers, consulting and mechanical companies, government agencies and regulatory bodies. This installation has effectively validated the installation protocol, site commissioning and remote technical support model.
Cresstec’ s CEO, Ian Nankivell, said: “The work done at RAAF Richmond represents an important milestone on our REED journey. Information and data obtained during the case study move us closer to scale manufacturing which will then allow for commercial installation and commissioning.”
“Our partnership with BGIS and Defence Australia has been essential throughout the process, and we thank them for their cooperation and enthusiasm to support this initiative as the first organisations to install the REED technology. Cresstec will continue to undertake case study/commercial installation projects across Australia, using data outputs to enhance design and performance of REED as a long-term sustainable energy and emissions solution.”
