The Mission 

Your mission as a General Manager at Cresstec is to work hand in hand with the CEO leading the organisation with strategic vision, ensuring operational excellence and driving sustainable growth. You'll inspire and guide your team to achieve our goals of innovation and efficiency, all while advancing our commitment to decarbonisation and energy-saving solutions. 

Outcomes 

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth by expanding market share, entering new markets, and launching innovative products that align with Cresstec’s mission.
  • Optimize operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety across all processes.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Achieve financial targets by managing budgets, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by delivering high-quality products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance Cresstec’s contribution to global sustainability, including reducing carbon footprint, increasing energy efficiency, and driving decarbonization efforts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies, to support Cresstec’s long-term success.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ensuring that Cresstec stays at the forefront of technological advancements and industry trends, particularly in decarbonisation and energy-saving technologies.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven managerial experience in a start up, understanding of the industries Cresstec operates in, including manufacturing & HVAC, will be highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of business operations, including strategic planning, financial management, marketing, sales, and supply chain management.
  • Expertise in leading diverse teams, driving organizational change, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements, particularly those related to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
  • Awareness of current and emerging market trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape in the energy and decarbonization sectors.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with Cresstec’s mission and goals, while anticipating and adapting to market changes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and effectively communicate with teams, stakeholders, and customers at all levels.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and managing P&L to drive profitability and sustainable growth and familiarisation with ISO 9001 management system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, customers, partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ability to streamline processes, improve productivity, and implement best practices to achieve operational excellence.
  • Skills in fostering a culture of innovation, leading product development, and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Competence in managing complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
