The Mission
Your mission as a Mechatronics Engineer at Cresstec is to innovate and integrate cutting-edge technologies that drive the efficiency, performance, and sustainability of our products. You'll combine your expertise in mechanics, electronics, and software to create intelligent systems that push the boundaries of what's possible in decarbonisation and energy savings, contributing directly to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
Outcomes

You will contribute to the design, development and testing of Cresstec Products, from requirements gathering through to validation testing and handover to manufacturing. Particularly mechanical system sensing, control and optimisation.

You will manage and prioritize projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and final products.

You will prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and user manuals.

You will stay current with the latest mechatronics technologies and trends, evaluating their applicability to our products and operations.
Knowledge & Skills
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
-
Experience in mechatronics engineering, preferably in the automotive, consumer electronics or manufacturing industry.

Experience in Mechanical and Electrical CAD software, Fusion360, Eagle, Altium (or equivalent)

Experience in real-time embedded software development.

Have experience in C and/or C++ programming languages

Experience working with and testing electrical and mechanical system

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal abilities

Experience with Product Development Processes and System Designs

Ability to work effectively in a small team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.

Some experience with GUI and cloud platforms is desirable.
